Building a Field Day That Survives Bangkok Traffic
How to sequence stores so promoters still finish the brief when the expressway stalls.
A perfect route on paper collapses when two adjacent stores sit on opposite sides of a floodgate. Start with open hours and known choke points, then cluster stops that share the same skytrain line or parking pattern.
Leave genuine buffers after the first two stops of the morning. Early delays compound; a five-minute slip at store one becomes a missed window at store four.
Write the day sheet in the order people actually travel, not alphabetical store codes. Promoters should not reverse-engineer your logistics mid-commute.
Review the first live week with supervisors before you freeze the template. The second draft — the one that survived real traffic — is the route worth repeating.
